What’s on this Autumn

As the seasons change and the weather begins to cool down, we have a range of exciting events heating up for you this autumn.

Starting with our Autumn School Holiday activities, running from Friday 29 March to Sunday 14 April. Try your hand at solving cryptic riddles as you follow the whaling history trail to spot the hidden whales. Then head over to the knot tying station to discover the skills of the sea and learn a variety of handy maritime knots you can practice at home. We are OPEN all Easter long weekend and every day over the school holidays.

Then indulge your taste buds and creativity at our Taste Great Southern event, Coastal Sips & Brush Tips, on Sunday 5 & Monday 6 May. Sip, savour and stroke your way through a sundowner of artistic expression, surrounded by the soothing sounds of the ocean. This unique event promises a perfect blend of wine-infused inspiration, culinary delights, and the joy of creating a personal work of art to take home.

Finally, join us to celebrate International Museum Day on Saturday 18 May, with our exclusive Delve Deeper into Albany’s Whaling History – Tour Experience. As part of the Australian Heritage Festival, this experience includes a special guided tour through the Historic Whaling Station, followed by morning or afternoon tea.
