What’s on this Spring

Spring comes alive with art, nature, and adventure.

Spring has arrived at Albany’s Historic Whaling Station and it is brimming with colour, creativity, and adventure!

Discover what is blooming with Garden Highlights Walk & Talk tours every Tuesday and Friday, or bring the kids along for Garden Sleuths, a fun mystery trail running throughout the school holidays. For something truly special, join our Nocturnal Wildlife Park Tour, four nights only, and meet Albany’s fascinating creatures after dark.

In the gallery, two inspiring exhibitions showcase local creativity. From 2 to 22 September, Jane Orchard’s Birds. Buildings. Biodiversity highlights the delicate balance between nature and the built environment. From 25 September to 26 October, Kerri Blades’ All Things Bright and Beautiful fills the space with joy and colour as part of the 2025 Southern Art & Craft Trail. Plus, don’t miss Kerri’s hands-on Coffee & Create workshop on 1 October.

Families can also explore the future of water at the Water Corporation’s interactive display on 6 October, packed with Waterwise tips and insights into Albany’s proposed desalination plant.

With art, gardens, wildlife, and activities for all ages, spring is the perfect time to visit. Find out more on our EVENTS page.
