Land Ahoy! Albany’s Historic Whaling Station will welcome you on board the Cheynes IV whale chaser at first evening stars!
Explore the ship before disembarking at Whalers Galley Café, to the sound of the waves lapping at the water’s edge below.
Here you will go on a taste journey inspired by the historical voyages of the whalers in days gone by.
Enjoy fresh local produce and seafood, including Albany Akoya oysters and King George whiting, complemented by wines from Oranje Tractor.
The evenings can be cool so make sure you bring a jacket and wear flat-soled shoes.
Tickets to this Taste Great Southern event includes exploration of Cheynes IV whale chaser, canapes showcasing local produce and seafood, and two glasses of wine, beer or soft drink.
