Phoenix Fine Art booklet image, green leaves and red and yellow flowers

The eight local Albany artists of Phoenix Fine Arts (Abigail Parker, Deidre Barrott, Helen Heerey, Leo Birch, Marjan Bakhtiarikish, Ron Baker, Roger Mills, and Suzanne Randall) have once again collaborated this spring to create Natures Palette art exhibition, as part of the 2024 Southern Art & Craft Trail, venue 32.

This exhibition features a beautiful array of artwork and is on display and sale from 21 September to 31 October, gallery open 9am to 5pm daily.

On your way to or from our exhibition, make sure to also stop by Southern Art & Craft Trail venues 33 and 34 to discover Merry Robertson and Sue Codee’s combined exhibition at The Merry Press Studio in Little Grove.

Art Trail Artist Demonstrations

Watch an artist work their craft when Abigail Parker demonstrates the delicate art of wildlife watercolour painting in our retail gallery on Monday 30 September from 11am. Abigail will create a detailed wildlife study demonstrating the layering technique from the initial drawing through to paint application.

Then explore marine themes with artist Helen Heerey in the gallery on Wednesday 2 October from 2pm. Helen will demonstrate the application of loose wet-in-wet watercolour technique to achieve stunning undersea effects.
