As of Thursday 3 March 2022, under the WA Government Level 2 Public Health and Social Measures, the 2sqm rule continues to apply to all indoor spaces within our venue and our Historic Whaling Station site now has a maximum capacity of 150 patrons at one time.
This means capacity limits are in place across our entire site, and the internal areas of the Cheynes IV whaling ship, plus our Australian Whaling movie theatre tank, are no longer accessible. However, the outer decks of the Cheynes IV ship are still accessible, along with all our other exhibit and gallery spaces, and additional movie theatres.
